A colonial town with a real flavor of Andalucia. It is built on the estuary of the Guadalquivir river in Cádiz and at the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. On a clear day you can see Africa. It boasts beautiful plazas with palm trees. A mixture of Colonial and Moorish architecture. From the air you can see many dome roofs, churches and fortifications. It has one of the oldest bull rings in the South of Spain. This town has a great clean coastline with well kept natural beaches. These beaches to the north lead on to the Doñana National park, where wild horses roam with a host of other wildlife. The town has everything from narrow market streets to beach front promenades. The rivers edge is scattered with traditional fishing boats.
